If you follow me on Instagram, I’ve made it impossible to ignore the fact that I ran the NYC Marathon yesterday. Thank you so much to all of you who’ve followed along this journey, and I promise, just a little more race day content to come. And then I won’t talk about it anymore. (Unless you ask me to; then I definitely will.)
Sadly I’m only in town until tomorrow morning, so I don’t have the bandwidth to attend any events on this trip — but I’ll be back. Thank you to those who reached out with invites to meet, but there are too many variables keeping me from meeting; the greatest being that I’m staying on Staten Island and can only ride the ferry so many times.
And finally — thank you to everyone who reached out to me in response to my first newsletter! I’m really happy to share that we had a few fits for stories, and I hope we can lock in even more!

Here’s what I’m working on right now, along with exactly what I’m looking for. Some repetition from last week here — the below is listed in order of priority.
If you have a fit, I kindly ask that you email me at marisapetrarca@gmail.com and include “SUBSTACK” in the subject hed as I’ll be filtering my inbox and prioritizing these emails.

Media Shoutout: RPZL / Farrington PR
I’ve been out of town for a bit, so pausing my mailer shoutout for the week, but this edition goes out to Kim Farrington, who invited me in for an appointment with the incredible RPZL team to get my hair braided for the marathon. The team also gave my mom a blowout, and it was such a special pampering moment ahead of the race. Thank you, Kim + RPZL!
