Reviving my Substack — hi!

Hey, everyone! Thank you for sticking with me, even though this has basically turned into a quarterly Substack. I’m so grateful to have you here! Happy October!

Things are going well on my end, and I hope the same goes for you! My husband and I are heading to New York City this Thursday for a friend’s 30th birthday. I’m beyond excited to be back in the city! While I’m keeping work commitments light, I’m still open to a few meetings and events because no trip to NYC is complete without a few!

This month is shaping up to be pretty busy, so I’ll jump straight into media opps so we can start coordinating ways to work together this month. Excited to hear from you.

Media Opps

I am looking for experts who are unaffiliated with brands for the below stories. Please reach out to my email if you have a fit at marisapetrarca@gmail.com with “SUBSTACK” in the subject hed.

• I am looking to speak with a board-certified derm or an expert with proven experience about dermaplaning, ASAP.

• I am working on a story about hair removal methods (Laser Hair Removal, Waxing, Shaving, Sugaring, Electrolysis, Hair Removal Creams, Epilate, Threading), and hoping to speak with a few experts about each. Looking for responses via email by 10/7, or to speak via phone by that date.

• I am looking to speak with 2-3 dermatologists about hair growth, namely what ingredients to look for in hair growth products, how to prevent hair loss, what makes hair grow faster, etc
