Happy New Year!
No PR opps this week — just a little catchup!
Happy New Year! I hope all of you had a relaxing holiday season with your loved ones. I'm energized and excited about 2024, eager to continue growing my Substack subscriber base, collecting new bylines, and tackling new projects.
It's hardly surprising, but I'm trying to get more organized, iron out work processes, and, most importantly, manage my email once and for all. It's a task I've been talking about doing for years but haven't. I've come up with a plan for managing it, and I'm feeling hopeful about it.
I also wanted to share that I've decided to turn on my paid subscribers feature. A huge thank you to those who have pledged your support. I'm excited to keep this going in 2024 and be more consistent in my bi-weekly publishing schedule. I’m also brainstorming ways of creating more exclusive content for subscribers. More on this soon.
One more thing! My contract with POPSUGAR ends on January 31. Many of my pitches are tailored to my POPSUGAR job, so I just wanted to share this note with you. I may continue with the brand on a freelance basis, but I’ll no longer be updating commerce stories and writing reviews for the site weekly. It’s bittersweet, but I’m ready to change things up!
I have some big goals for 2024! Thank you all for being along for the ride.
